This policy explains the privacy controls built into the NexusWild website. It is a technical and editorial baseline for the current front end and should be aligned with the final legal entity, hosting provider, newsletter provider, advertising stack and jurisdictions in which NexusWild operates.
Essential browser storage
NexusWild stores reader choices such as theme, Brief Mode, saved stories and the privacy preference in the browser. These features can work without sending the saved-story list to NexusWild.
Analytics and advertising consent
The supplied site uses a consent-first implementation. Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager scripts remain unloaded until the reader grants the relevant category. Readers can choose Essential only, allow analytics, or separately allow advertising-related consent signals, then reopen Privacy choices later.
The implementation sends Google Consent Mode v2 states for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization when Google tags are configured. NexusWild must add its real GA4 or GTM identifier in /assets/js/site-config.js before those services are active.
What analytics may process
Once configured and consented to, analytics providers may process page URLs, device/browser information, approximate location derived from network information, referrer data, engagement events and identifiers permitted by the reader’s consent state and provider settings. Configure retention, data sharing and advertising features in the applicable Google account to match this policy.
Server and security logs
Hosting, CDN and security providers may process IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps, requested URLs and similar request data needed to deliver and protect the site. NexusWild should document the final providers and retention periods before a major public launch.
Newsletter and forms
Do not place subscriber emails, contact-form submissions or other private reader information in the public Firebase article database. Newsletter and contact services should provide appropriate access controls, unsubscribe mechanisms and data-processing terms.
Third-party media and data
Articles can reference images hosted by third parties, and the Wealth Monitor can request the latest available open billionaire dataset from jsDelivr. Those third-party hosts can receive standard network request information when their resources load.
Your controls
Use the control to change optional analytics and advertising permissions. Browser controls can also clear locally stored preferences.
